teddy tsao wuTeddy Tsao-Wu

Teddy Tsao-Wu is a proud member of the California state bar. He received his Juris Doctor degree with a Tax Concentration from the University of California at Hasting. While in law school, Mr. Tsao-Wu was a member of the Hasting International Law Journal. Prior to that, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of California, Davis.

He has previously worked at the San Francisco district attorney’s office, the California franchise tax board, and Perkins Coie, LLP. Mr. Tsao-Wu was a partner of the Sino Law Group before joining Tsao-Wu and Yee LLP.

His areas of expertise include corporate law, civil litigation, real estate, tax, and personal injury. He currently heads the Tsao-Wu and Yee LLP international practice. His client base includes publicly traded companies in China and Taiwan. He current represents several significant firms, including Tong Ren Tang (China), Welltend Technology Corporation (Taiwan), and Powertech Technology Inc. (Taiwan). suzan yeeSuzan Yee

Suzan Yee was admitted to the California state bar in 1979. She is currently licensed to practice in all California state courts, the U.S. district court, the northern district of California, and the Ninth Circuit of the U.S. court of appeals. Ms. Yee earned her Juris Doctor degree at the University of San Francisco School of Law. Previously, she graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts.  She worked as a deputy district attorney in San Francisco before joining Tsao-Wu and Yee LLP.

Her experience highlights include conducting nearly one hundred jury trials and hundreds of arbitrations and mediations. Ms. Yee serves as a general counsel to the Asian Business League and the Chew Chao Community Center. She is also currently a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Board of Directors of the Asian Business League, the Chinese Cultural Services Center, and the Chinese American Democratic Association. william zak taylorWilliam Zak Taylor

William J. “Zak” Taylor earned his Juris Doctor degree—cum laude—from Harvard Law School. Previously, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University. Mr. Taylor is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. tax court, the U.S. court of appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Central Districts of California. He is a former partner of two large, top-tier law firms: Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.

San Francisco Magazine recognized Mr. Taylor as a Super Lawyer in both corporate transactions and civil litigation. The Super Lawyer designation includes peer review input and is limited to the top 5% of lawyers in Northern California. He is also a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, a peer review honorary trial lawyer society that is limited to 3,000 trial and appellate lawyers in the United States and Canada.

Over the years, he has handled a broad range of civil, criminal defense, bankruptcy, and administrative matters, as well as a wide range of business, trust, probate, and real estate transaction matters. Mr. Taylor is both a trusted corporate and personal adviser and a trial lawyer. He has also successfully resolved a variety of appeals, including appeals before the U.S. Supreme Court and the California Supreme Court.

Mr. Taylor has authored or contributed to a number of books, including California Antitrust and Unfair Competition Law and the ABA Antitrust Section Antitrust Law Developments (Fourth Edition). He is also an adjunct professor at the Golden Gate University School of Law, where he focuses on antitrust law. nancy-wengNancy Weng

Nancy Weng received her bachelors of science degree from University of Houston and J.D from Golden State University School of Law. Nancy is registered to practice in both California State and Federal Courts. Nancy's practice focuses on bankruptcy and general civil litigation. Her experience includes chapter 7, 13 and 11 bankruptcies, as well as bankruptcy litigation, including adversary proceedings and evidentiary hearings.

Prior to joining Tsao-Wu & Yee LLP, Nancy was with the San Jose Office of The Trinh Law Firm and Law Offices of Drew Henwood.
